Founded in 1994 as Unit Penyelidikan Kualiti Makanan within Faculty Science and Technology (FST, UKM) and officially incorporated in 2009, Unipeq Sdn. Bhd. (UKM UNIPEQ) is a wholly owned subsidiary of UKM Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (UKMH) which the commercial arm of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia – UKM (National University of Malaysia).
